Stretching and Breathing Exercises to Prepare the Body for Acupressure:
for instant stress and anxiety relief
In order to stimulate and energize the body, the receiver should practice these simple stretching and breathing exercises before proceeding with the acupressure session.
Sit cross legged on the floor and take three deep breaths as if it is originating from the navel. This will help in energizing the body and free it of all thoughts and worries.
Stand straight and stretch your hands up over your head while inhaling and slowly stretch the body backward as far as possible without hurting yourself, hold the posture for 3 seconds.
Exhale as you come back to the previous posture, bend forward and try to touch the floor. Hold this position for 3 seconds.
Inhale as you come back to the starting posture. Keeping your hands raised, bent to your left side while exhaling. Hold this position for 3 seconds.
Inhale as you straighten your body. Now lean towards your right while exhaling. Hold the posture for 3 seconds.
Straighten your body and come back to the starting posture. Repeat this whole sequence 3 times.

Three Mile Point– This point is located two finger width below the knee cap and four finger widths towards the outside region of the leg. Applying pressure at this point increases and regulates energy flow, relieves fatigue and helps in increasing concentration. Apply pressure for 1 minute and move to the next point.

Will’s Chamber– This point is located at the mid-section of your waist, about 3 finger widths away from the spine. Stimulating this point helps in distributing energy flow through all meridians, strengthen the whole body and relieve back tension.
